Terms of Services

Read the following Terms of Service in its entirety so you may understand all conditions of entering into a Commission contract with the artist, Bones Lake (Bonesy Doodles). Agreement of Commission terms and through making payment, you have consent to the following Terms of Service.

Basic Commission Information

To request a commission, please fill out the following Commission Request Form so I can contact you for your free consultation. Understand that the consultation will consist of thorough discussion of the Commission, price estimation, timelines, and expectations. I reserve the right, at the conclusion of the consultation, to not continue with the commission if the request falls outside of my boundaries as an artist.

Please look thoroughly through my Commission Prices as well as my Character Design and Illustration if you are already not familiar with my art on other platforms. Understand that the prices listed are base estimations and are subject to change during the free consultation process depending on the request.

What I Draw!

· Humans/Humanoids | This includes fantasy races, dragons, monsters, creatures, etc

· Mecha/Robots

· Armor, Intricate Clothing, Complex Character Designs

· Fanart and Original Characters

· Suggestive Art and Artistic Nudity

· Gore/Horror | This depends on specific subject matter and some content may be denied

· Character Designs | This is a very involved process between me and the Commissioner, so be aware of constant communications

What I Won’t Draw!

· Realism | Humans, Animals, Environments, etc.

· NSFW | I’m not good at it yet!

· Bigotry/Discrimination

You are subject to be BLACKLISTED if any request crosses established boundaries. I reserve the right to reject any commission request.

Process Information

· When completing the Commission Request Form, or contacting me on any platform, please include all necessary information: commission type, references images, description, and any specific requests.

· Once I receive the Request Form, I will contact you within the week to you to start the free consultation. During this, I will go over the requests information along with any additional insights from the Commissioner, as well as the price estimate and timeline.

· If the price is agreed upon, a Paypal Invoice or Venmo Request will be sent to the Commissioner. Commissioner has a window of 7 days to paid the Invoice/Request, and only once I receive payment will I start working on the commission.

· I will keep the Commissioner up to date at select stages of the commission artwork process, initial sketch and color comps, base render, final render, etc. depending on commission type. All image files sent during this time are private, as well as formatted in Low Resolution.

· During these stages, the Commissioner has a singular free revision that is included in the initial payment. Any further revisions will incur an additional fee depending on the degree of change the Commissioner wishes to see.

· Once I receive approval of the last stage before the commission artwork is finished, the commission process is considered over and revisions will no longer be accepted. The Commissioner must send payment for any extra revisions requested during the process before they can receive the Full Resolution public (watermarked) and private (non-watermarked) files of the commission artwork.

General Agreements

1.1 Commissioner must be at least 18 years of age, or have the approval of a parent/guardian to enter into a Commission Contract and make a purchase.

1.2 As the artist, I reserve all rights and copyright to the commission artwork, to post on social media as content, and use as potential merchandising. If the Commissioner intends to use the commission in commercial use, the intention must be declared during the free consultation and will be subjected to a Commercial Usage fee.

1.3 As the artist, I reserve the right to document the process of creating the commission artwork, in both video and image format, to be shared on social media platforms. If the Commissioner does not wish for their commission artwork to be documented as such, please notify me during the free consultation.

1.4 Commissioner may use the commission artwork in any personal manner that is non-commercial. Changes to the artwork or removal of the watermark on the public platform version of the artwork may result in the Commissioner becoming BLACKLISTED. When posting the commission artwork to public platforms, only use the watermarked version and credit me as the artist.

Payment Terms

2.1 Payment is done through Paypal Invoice or Venmo Request through my business platforms. Commissioner must have working accounts on either platform to complete payment process.

2.2 Payment is taken upfront, 100%. Partial payments will not be accepted, unless in the case of extra revisions not included in the singular free revision included in the initial price. Extra revisions must be paid for before the Commissioner can receive the commission artwork files.

2.3 Cancellations are not generally accepted. However, upon emergencies, please notify me immediately and depending on the stage of the process, a partial or full refund may be available.

2.4 As the artist, if I can not complete the commission artwork, a full refund with be processed.

2.5 Any attempt at fraudulent dispute of payment for the commission artwork will result in the Commissioner being BLACKLISTED.

Legal Agreement

3.1 Upon accepting these terms, any breach of contract done by Commissioner will result in the end of the commission artwork process. The Commissioner will not receive the commission artwork, no matter the stage of the process.

3.2 This Agreement is subject to and shall be governed by the laws of the State of Pennsylvania.
